A water jet is a laminar stream of water carrying ultrasonic signals between the transducer and the test object surface. It is especially used where there is a need for non-contact coupling and is usually applied for scanning large objects in the aircraft industry whose buoyancy prevents immersion inspection. A jet probe system is an inspection system that utilizes water jets as it's inspection medium.
Complex Systems
Complex Geometry Inspection Systems have multi-axis movement capabilities and are supplied for the inspection of large complex shapes.
Rotary Systems
Rotary Systems are supplied for the inspection of aero-engine nacelles and doors and incorporate a turntable for scanning.
Combined Systems
Combined Systems have the capability to carry out jet probe inspection and immersion inspection on the same system.
